Church Musician Wanted in Augusta, Maine
Green Street United Methodist Church is seeking a skilled and dependable musician to join our worship ministry team. This part-time position is ideal for someone with a heart for worship, strong musical ability, and a desire to serve the church through music.

- Required skills: Ability to provide piano accompaniment for a small vocal choir, including sight reading individual parts during rehearsal. Ability to work together with the Choir Director and worship planning team to plan and lead choral and congregational music. Ability to independently prepare and perform music to support weekly worship services with creativity, thoughtfulness, and sensitivity.
- Relevant experience: Accompanying soloists or vocal groups in a church setting or any setting; performing music in a church setting or any setting; training or education in music, especially in a religious or spiritual context.
- Responsibilities: The primary responsibilities are to provide music during Sunday morning worship services through the year, and to participate in weekly choir rehearsals from September through May. A more complete description of Roles and Responsibilities is available on request.
- Position: This is a salaried position paid at the rate of $150/week regardless of the number of hours worked. The church pays FICA, Workers Comp, and PFML. Vacation and sick days are provided. The position is accountable to the church Staff Parish Relations Committee.
