What To Expect

 
Thinking about visiting Green Street United Methodist Church?
 
We'll be excited to have you.  We do our best to be a welcoming congregation and faith community. We have dedicated visitor parking in front of the church, and we're fully handicapped accessible. When attending a worship service, you'll be greeted warmly at a sanctuary door and be given an opportunity to ask any question you may have.
 
How do I get to Green Street United Methodist Church?
 
The church is located at 13 Green Street in Augusta.  Click here for directions and parking information.
 
What is the best way to access the building?
 
Most people enter the Sanctuary by going up the double stairs and through two green doors at the right of the building, directly below the steeple. The Sanctuary is clearly signed.
 
Elevator access is available by entering through the Wesley Center, or the two green doors at the left of the building. The Sanctuary is on level 2. Turn right leaving the elevator and follow the hallway to the Sanctuary.
 
What are the worship services like?
 
There's a mix of traditional, alternative and modern worship practices, where people of all ages and backgrounds can grow spiritually in their walks with Christ. .
 
Is child care available?
 
Yes!  Child care is one of our most important ministries. 
 
What are the expectations about giving?
 
Green Street believes in and teaches tithing, but all giving - financial and otherwise - is free will-based and without coercion. Green Street offers several opportunities for giving, through participation in small groups, volunteering in community missions and through individual engagement in various fellowship activities.
